HIGHER EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING

The cost of higher education has significantly outpaced the rate of inflation over recent decades. Students and families are burdened with debt that in turn prevents them from utilizing those funds for basic needs such as home ownership. The idea that “getting ahead” and gaining wealth is tied to a college degree also needs to be challenged. There should be equal access to supported vocational training.
